Alice Cooper’s ‘Fright Night’ heads for city

Alice Cooper brings his Halloween mayhem to the NIA in Birmingham

This month, the Birmingham NIA welcomes the original king of fear, Alice Cooper, as part of his UK tour. The special fright-night show, ‘Halloween Night of Fear’ promises to give Cooper fans the ultimate night of terror.

In the week that sees ghosts, ghouls and demons gracing the human world, the infamous American rock god will treat fans to another legendary Halloween spectacular. This comes following last year’s outstanding London gig, which left fans gasping for more.

Ahead of the tour, Alice Cooper’s new album ‘Welcome 2 My Nightmare’, the sequel to the 1975 classic ‘Welcome To My Nightmare’, will be unleashed onto the world. Produced once again by Bob Ezrin, this new album will feature as part of his Birmingham show and promises to see his comic book cruelty taken up a notch.

Alice said:

“It takes a lot to shock me… but last year even my stomach was churning. Britain really has got freaks. That’s what Halloween is all about. It’s my favourite time of the year… bring on the gore.”

Alice Cooper’s Night of Fear will also feature the legendary New York Dolls as support. The band, which was formed in New York in 1971, will add some glam-rock to the evening’s proceedings.

Tickets for Alice Cooper – Halloween Night of Fear go on sale at 9am on Friday 17 June and cost £33.50 (plus booking and transaction fees). Tickets are available now from The Ticket Factory: www.theticketfactory.com or 0844 338 8000.
