One Tree Hill star and musician Tyler Hilton has announced his first headlining European tour, to kick off in October 2012.
In promotion of his new fell-length album, Forget The Storm, and in response to the overwhelming success of his Spring 2012 UK tour supporting Boyce Avenue, Tyler Hilton will play 11 shows in 15 days, including a date at the O2 Academy in Birmingham.
Hilton’s new full-length album, Forget The Storm, was recorded in Los Angeles with producer David Hodges.. The album includes the hook driven ballad Prince of Nothing Charming, and the blues-inspired Loaded Gun (as seen performed on the Series Finale of One Tree Hill). This marks Hilton’s first independent release since cutting ties with his major label, and as a result, he says this album is his most authentic piece of work to date.
A native of sunny Palm Springs in California, Tyler Hilton is a musician, songwriter and actor. Hilton released The Tracks Of Tyler Hilton in 2004, the album included the top 40 singles When It Comes and How Love Should Be.
Since the release, Tyler has toured with artists such as Taylor Swift, Gavin DeGraw, Goo Goo Dolls, Keith Urban and John Mayer. Hilton has also made a name for himself in the acting world, playing the role of a young Elvis in the Academy Award winning film, Walk The Line, where he also contributed two covers to the soundtrack. His other credits include the CW’s One Tree Hill, VH1 series Single Ladies and the 2008 feature Charlie Bartlett.In April 2012, Hilton released his follow-up album, Forget The Storm, independently through his own label, Hooptie Tune Records.
Hilton, who has been on a North American summer tour, is excited to be kicking-off his first Headlining European Tour, which starts in Dublin, Ireland on October 25 and arrives to Birmingham on October 30th. The tour is supported by American singer-songwriter Dion Roy.
