A video of two Birmingham youngsters singing a hit song from Disney’s hugely successful winter film Frozen, has amassed hundreds of views online.
The young friends from the Sutton Coldfield area in the West Midlands, were driving together when they spontaneously burst into a lip-sync cover of Love is an Open Door, originally performed by Kristen Bell and Santino Fontana in the animated film.
Despite being in a vehicle and on the road, performers Keiran Fuller and Nicky Millward managed to sync their performances with the track, and with each other, as they timed their words and gestures with perfect precision.
They uploaded the video to Facebook where it began receiving hundreds of ‘likes’ and comments; and have now featured the sequence on YouTube.
Twenty-three-year-old Keiran, who enjoys filmmaking and recording songs, wrote explaining their inspiration had come from seeing numerous Frozen cover versions and sing-along videos online, including a clip entitled “Good Looking Parents Sing Disney’s Frozen (Love Is an Open Door)” which has been viewed over 10 million times.
“We loved the viral video and love this song from Frozen by Disney. We had fun playing with this,” he explained.
The hit film, released last year, was widely praised for its soundtrack which also included the Oscar-winning song ‘Let It Go’ by Idina Menzel.
