Here's the 12 buff ginger dudes who stripped naked to fight stigma [NSFW]

Twelve redheaded dudes have stripped totally naked to raise money for charity, while taking a stand against the stigma associated with being ginger.

Often socially mocked for being very pale but for bright fiery hair, redheads aren’t traditionally the poster-boys for ‘popular’ beauty standards, but these fellas are showing off their assets to change just that.

How and why, you might ask? Well, as the calendar tagline aptly states: “Because ginger pubes are awesome and your life needs more colour.”

In every photograph on each month, the featured lads are sticking their middle finger up at the stigma surrounding ginger pubes, something they’re quite willing to show off too.

Photographer Thomas Knights – who began his photographic journey towards challenging stereotypes with a special ‘Red Hot 100‘ exhibition and book launch in 2014 – continues his mission to celebrate gingers this year, following on from a hugely successful near-nude calendar last year.

Only this time, the boys are baring all (yes, everything), and for a good cause too.

While the project primarily aims to tackle bullying and discrimination surrounding red hair, it will also raise funds for the Movember Foundation’s Testicular Cancer Awareness campaign.

Around 47 per cent of British men diagnosed with testicular cancer are younger than 35-years-old, making awareness-raising a very pressing issue.

Sharing his vision, project photographer Tom Knights said:

“The world is a dark place, so brighten up your life with our new, super colourful ‘Red Hot Cocks’ charity calendar.”

The calendar features a different guy each month and is being made available in time for Christmas, but it isn’t the only calendar the Red Hot team have produced. They’ve also released a Red Hot British Boys calendar just in time for 2018. The limited edition calendar was made possible through crowdfunding, with the goal of £6,500 exceeded by 500%.
