BBC Three is one of the most trail-blazing places to work in the BBC – and wider industry – though the editorial pillars Make Me Laugh and Make Me Think, the channel is helping young audiences understand the world and their place in it. The quality of the content has been recognised by the industry and audiences alike, winning awards such as RTS Channel of The Year, Broadcast Digital Channel of the Year and BAFTAs for shows like Fleabag, Murdered by my Father and People Just Do Nothing.

In 2016 it was announced that BBC Three would be expanding into Birmingham, with plans for the commissioning, publishing and some production of the channel’s short-form content relocating to the city this year.  It will also still be based in London.
