6 photos of Bullring shoppers getting their groove on for Sport Relief

As part of the nation’s billion steps challenge, Disco Fitness were making sure Birmingham took a step in the right direction for Sport Relief yesterday, with a lunchtime aerobics class right next to the Bullring’s iconic bull.

This year, Sport Relief is challenging the whole nation to get moving and attempt to beat a billion steps a day, every day this week.

As instructor Rebecca Charles was spreading disco fever and surprising shoppers, tourists and city workers – encouraging people to strut their stuff and rack up as many steps for Sport Relief as possible during their lunch break – she kept track of her steps through the Sport Relief app.

Commuting on foot, dancing or dog walking all count towards the step total as the nation comes together this month to raise money and help vulnerable people, across the UK and the world, to live happier, healthier and safer lives.
