With Birmingham Pride taking place this Bank Holiday weekend, the city is well and truly stoked for planned fun and festivities; with the rainbow flag firmly in place across Brum ahead of the UK’s largest two-day LGBT+ celebration.
Retailers, bars, community groups and leisure venues have adopted the iconic colour palette in anticipation of the queer culture fest, which takes place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May.
Pride will be launching from Victoria Square with a parade, which will make its way to the Gay Quarter or “Village” in and around Hurst Street where celebrations are expected to continue throughout the weekend.
