West Midlands Police were donning rainbows and glitter as they came out for Birmingham Pride over the August bank holiday weekend.
Officers from the force joined the colourful parade as it made its way through the city and celebrated the UK’s largest two-day lesbian and gay festival alongside revellers and members of the public.
Encouraging their staff to engage with the wider community and to take selfies with locals, West Midlands Police Chief Constable Dave Thompson thanked all involved.
“Thank you to WMPLGBT Network for great parade and West Midlands Police staff for playing their part policing today’s celebration of diversity.”
