Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn visited Walsall Beeches Club this week, addressing a cheering and over-capacity crowd of Walsall residents.
The Labour leader was kicking off Labour’s programme of community organising in Walsall North – which will be led by Labour’s parliamentary candidate in the constituency, Gill Ogilvie – but unsurprisingly, so many people had turned up to see him that there were no available seats left inside.
So Jeremy did what he does best, and addressed those outside as well as those inside straight afterwards! All to ample cheers, of course. No dip in popularity in Walsall then, it would seem.
