Fashion royalty to grace the runway, as Indo-Pak style show returns to London

Following its debut on the UK Fashion Calendar in 2017, a show celebrating Indo-Pak fashion returns to London, reuniting the crème of Indian, Pakistani and British couture on one platform.

IPLF – the India, Pakistan and London Fashion Show – makes a spectacular reappearance on London’s high fashion landscape on Sunday 30th September at the iconic Café De Paris, bringing to UK shores the finest concept fashion venture, amalgamating design, artistry and culture from East and West.

A symbolic concept that celebrates the pure form of couture, IPL Fashion is unique in that it will spotlight the grandeur of three distinct cultures – British, Indian and Pakistani – allowing attendees to come up-close and personal with their favourite designers and stars in one city, London, a melting pot of diversity and inclusivity.

The boutique event will showcase handpicked international designers from high profile fashion houses to rising stars of the next generation talent in fashion, catering to both male and female fashionistas. Headlining the event will be some of the most celebrated Indian, Pakistani and UK designers.

IPL Fashion will comprise an audience of global trendsetters, business and political stalwarts, cultural tastemakers and influencers. Last year’s guest list included personalities such as Marco Pierre White Jr, Olivia Bentley, Emma Mc Vey, Sandra and Sandy from Gogglebox, and veteran Pakistani TV and film personality Javed Sheikh.

IPL Fashion is the brainchild of business impresario Gurbani Kaur. Speaking about the launch at IPL Fashion 2017, she says: “We started this journey as an experimental offering of luxurious South Asian culture and fashion to international audiences, which has now blossomed into an exciting high concept fashion venture.

As a boutique event, we work towards showcasing the very best, handpicked designers of fashion brands offering bespoke designs to an elite audience. IPL Fashion 2018 is a continuation of the celebration of a special cultural relationship shared between the UK, India and Pakistan in an epic industry.

We have had a phenomenal response thus far to the show and look forward to giving our attendees the opportunity to sample the latest in cutting edge design and fashion from the East and West.”
