Eric Cantona will be meeting fans and sharing a night of food and entertainment in Birmingham
Football legend Eric Cantona is heading to Birmingham next week to meet fans and enjoy a Parisian style burlesque-themed night near Broad Street.
Fans have the chance to enjoy a three-course dinner and an evening of Moulin Rouge inspired entertainment as soccer supremo Cantona regales them with tales of his career at Manchester United and beyond.
Known for his philosophical musings as much as for his football skills, the 52-year-old French international sportsman and occasional actor will be sharing a unique VIP experience with fans at the Regency Banqueting Suite in Hagley Road; which is being transformed into a 19th Century French burlesque boudoir for the night.
Along with the opportunity to meet the man of the hour, the evening will include and exclusive memorabilia auction and, of course, a three-course menu; as Eric Cantona takes to teh stage to discuss his career and life so far.
The intimate event has been organised by Andy Sahota of Wolverhampton-based Showfighter UK, whose glamorous engagements have attracted the likes of boxers Floyd Mayweather, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
Andy said: “Eric Cantona is one of the most iconic footballers of the Premier League era and we are delighted ‘The King’ will be our guest. As one of the most famous and decisive players ever to play in England, he’s still so widely regarded.
“We are looking forward to putting on a great night of entertainment for football fans and especially Manchester United supporters in the Midlands.”
