World Book Day is a registered charity on a mission to give every child and young person a book of their own. It is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. As part of this encouragement to read, children (and teachers) also dress up in their favourite characters from books for the day.
Let us know which is your favourite, how you did yours and what were some of the best costumes you have seen!
