The Ivy Temple Row gets rainbow-ready ahead of Birmingham Pride

As the second city prepares for Birmingham Pride 2019, one of the cities largest and most colourful events, local businesses have been turning out in force to reaffirm their commitment to embracing the LGBTQ+ community. One in particular, The Ivy Temple Row, has decided to celebrate with a giant colourful display and a limited-edition pride themed cocktail.

In a tribute to the UK’s largest two-day LGBTQ+ festival, The Ivy Temple Row has displayed a giant 10ft floral display in their window. Decked in flower blooms and an array of textures, the vibrant spectacle is set to be a favourite with visitors to the city.

Liz Burton, General Manager at The Ivy Temple Row, comments: “Our Pride installation is set to be a truly eye-catching display that is sure to spark joy in our diners and be the perfect photo opportunity for passers-by looking to mark the occasion.”

“We’re extremely excited to be joining the city in celebrating such an iconic event, and can’t wait for guests to sample our limited-edition cocktail too.”

In extension of their 10ft display, the Ivy Temple Row has also released a limited edition cocktail which has been added to the menu especially for the celebrations. The tantalising cocktail, features a delicious blend of Sauternes, Campari, Flor de Seville and egg white, complemented by lemon and orange juice, and finished with a spoonful of sweet orange marmalade.

From Tuesday, 21 May to Tuesday, 4 June, The Ivy Temple Row’s exterior will come alive with an abundance of colourful blooms and feathers for guests and visitors to the city to enjoy.
