Police hunt launched after vicious attack leaves Walsall man with bleed on brain

Officers investigating after a man was found with head injuries on Bescot Street, Walsall on Saturday 22 June, have launched an appeal.

The 31-year-old was taken to hospital with skull fractures and a bleed on the brain after he was found in the street at 5.25pm.

He remains in a series condition and has so far been unable to speak to officers or give an account of what happened.

An investigation has been on-going and it’s understood that as the man walked down Bescot Street, towards Milton Street, he was approached by a black man, wearing a white top.

A car was in the vicinity of the attack at the time- the people in this car are likely to be key witnesses – and detectives are keen for them to come forward.
