Cameras at the Ready as Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye from Paw Patrol to visit Star City!

UPDATE: This event has now been altered and will be attended by popular children’s TV characters Peppa Pig and George instead.

Star City in Birmingham is hosting a FREE family event on Saturday 30 November with a visit from Paw Patrol’s favourite characters, Chase, Marshall, Rubble and Skye.

If your little ones are huge fans of the Nickelodeon show, then make sure to bring the family to catch a glimpse of the characters off the screen.

Don’t forget your cameras though, because there will be plenty of photo opportunities too! Paw Patrol will be appearing outside the Vue Cinema and around the park at intervals between 12 noon and 4.30pm to meet the families at the park.

The hit Canadian CGI–animated television series focuses on a young boy named Ryder who leads a crew of search and rescue dogs that call themselves the PAW Patrol. They work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay.

Each dog has a specific set of skills based on emergency services professions, such as a firefighter, a police officer, and an aviation pilot. They all reside in doghouses that transform into customized vehicles for their missions. They are also equipped with backpacks called “pup packs” that contain tools that relate to the pups’ jobs.

With the festive season underway, there’s be a whole host of family fun to be had throughout the park with new Christmas menus and deals on food and drink across restaurants, including Harvester, Nando’s, Pizza Hut and Oodles n’Oodles.

And if you’re a lover of all things sweet, head to Haute Dolci, the new restaurant to open its doors offering delicious desserts and ice creams. Experience the delights of sweet treats from the must have American Waffle, melt in the mouth Cookie Dough and scrumptious Milkshakes.

A spokesperson for Star City said:

“Why not take a trip to the cinema who will be showing some of the latest family blockbusters including Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil and Abominable, or strike gold at Hollywood Bowl which has fun for all ages.”
