A 15-year-old has been stabbed and hospitalised in Birmingham after being attacked by a group of teenagers.
The altercation and attack took place near Grove Lane in Handsworth, at around 7.30pm last night.
The young boy sustained a stab wound to his thigh, and was taken to hospital where his condition is not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
According to West Midlands Police, the victim was attacked by a group of four or five teenagers, although they stressed investigations were ongoing.
“We’re dealing with a stabbing that took place near Grove Lane in #Handworth at around 7.30pm this evening (6 July).
