Police have charged a man with the murder of his own brother who was fatally stabbed at a residence in Birmingham.
Joseph Garmson was found seriously injured at a property in Lutley Grove, Bartley Green, on Monday evening around 8:30pm.
The 31-year-old victim was rushed to hospital but tragically died.
A police spokesperson has confirmed the post mortem examination revealed the victim died from a stab wound to his leg.
West Midlands Police secured the crime scene and a forensics team examined the location.
The older brother of the victim was arrested by police in connection with the fatal stabbing.
Roy Garmson, aged 33, of Lutley Grove, was charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court.
Enquiries into this shocking death are continuing and police are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
