IN PICTURES: Birmingham Weekender 2021 thrills crowds across city centre venues

Birmingham Weekender has made a welcome return this August bank holiday weekend, with over 100 free events for the public to enjoy.

Once again produced by the Birmingham Hippodrome, this year all of the action has been taking place at Bullring & Grand Central as well as the surrounding New Street Station concourse; along with Birmingham Markets and 1000 Trades Square, all between Friday 27 – Sunday 29 August.

The cultural festival, funded by Bullring & Grand Central, Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Hippodrome and Arts Council England, has combined a mix of dance, music, film, performances and installations across the city centre shopping destination, featuring many of the best artists from Birmingham and the West Midlands.
