A third teenager has been arrested and chraged in connection with the murder of Yahya Sharif who was stabbed to death in the Small Heath area of Birmingham.
Gaman Sheek, 18, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (23 December) accused of murdering Yahya Sharif.
Yahya, aged 18, died after being stabbed in Coventry Road, Small Heath, just before 5.30pm on 10 December.
Sheek is the third teenager to be charged with Yahya’s murder and was arrested at his home on Castle Road, Birmingham, yesterday morning (Wednesday 22 December).
Meanwhile, police are still hunting Abdirahaman Yussuf who is wanted in connection with the brutal murder.
Speaking about the ongoing hunt for Yussuf, a police spokesperson said: “The 19-year-old from South Yardley in Birmingham is wanted in connection with Yahya’s death.
“If you see Yussuf, call us immediately on 999.”
