A fourth young man has been charged with the murder of Yahya Sharif who was stabbed to death in the Small Heah area of Birmingham last year.
Teenager Sabir Maow appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today (2 February) accused of murdering Yahya Sharif.
The tragic killing of Yayha Sharif, aged 18, shocked the people of Small Heath last year. The teenager, from Nechells, sadly died after being stabbed on Coventry Road just before 5.30pm on 10 December.
Sabir Maow, 18, from Plowden Road, Birmingham, is the fourth man to be charged with Yahya’s murder.
Mao was remanded in custody after his court appearance today.
Meanwhile, West Midlands Police have renewed an urgent appeal to trace another man in connection with the tragic killing of Yahya Sharif.
Officers are urgently appealing to the public for any information to trace Abdirahaman Yussuf, aged 19, from Yardley.
Crimestoppers have posted a reward of £5,000 to find the suspect.
