A suspect who was arrested in connection with the murder of Muhammed Sohail in Saltley, Birmingham, has been charged.
Jervais Boyaram, 35, from Guernsey Drive, Birmingham, has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition.
Boyaram will appear is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today (2 March).
Mr Sohail tragically died from a fatal gunshot wound in Saltley on Saturday 19 February.
A 34-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Adam Jobson, from Force CID, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Mr Sohail. They have been fully updated with this latest development and continue to be supported by our specialist officers.”
