A West Midlands Police investigation into the death of a 56-year-old man from Kingstanding, Birmingham continues after his body was found in a car at Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield yesterday.
The man’s family was informed by police of the tragically sad news after the body was discovered in a car park on Friday 22 April, and the force has confirmed an arrest has now been made.
According to police, a post mortem examination will take place as soon as possible to help them understand what caused the man’s unexplained death.
A 43-year-old man from Tamworth was arrested yesterday evening in Birmingham on suspicion of murder, with police reporting he remains in custody.
The car where the body was found has been removed for more detailed forensic examination while the area of the car park which had been closed off has now been reopened.
