IN PICTURES: Commuters in awe as CBSO musicians perform at Birmingham New Street Station

Birmingham’s New Street station was alive with music from the movies today, thanks to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, who treated commuters to two special pop-up performances to kick off the weekend.

Commuters were pleasantly surprised to see the orchestra blasting out popular theme tunes and soundtrack numbers from some of cinema’s most popular films this afternoon (Friday 18 November).
