María Oliva is an emerging music artist hailing from southern Spain.
Since she was 10 years old, María has been singing songs.
Years later, she honed her vocal skills with the expertise mentoring of maestro Pedro Gordillo, launching her professional career began. In 2017, she presented her first album: Dime Luna.
Together with producer Timmy Ropero, she began to compose her own songs which landed her a place in the finals of the ‘Los Premios MIN’ independent music awards, held in her native Spain, where she performed the single Cristales Rotos.
As of 2020, María’s work began began gaining national and international attention. In 2016, she received the Best Saeta Award in Marbella, the Best Career Award (Cope) in 2017, a year in which she also accepted the prestigious Art Award.
In 2019, she was a finalist for best song and best music video for Cristales Broken at the Estrella Argentina Awards in 2021 and the Gaviota de Plata Award in Argentina in 2022 respectively.
In 2023, María Oliva launched her latest single Destino. This song gives its name to the artist’s EP that is expected to be released this summer, under the production of Jordi Cristau (Manuel Carrasco, Fito y Fitipaldis, Manolo García).
