BREAKING: Emergency services deal with serious crash in Small Heath, Birmingham

A collision involving two vehicles on the border of Small Heath and Bordesley Green in Birmingham brought heavy traffic congestion this afternoon (7 July).

The accident took place at the junction of Green Lane and Victoria Street shortly after 3pm on Friday afternoon.

The collision involved two vehicles – a truck and a family-sized Volkswagen – at the traffic lights and the area was quickly sealed off by police as West Midlands Ambulance Service arrived to the scene.
