West Midlands Police are seeking information about a burglary at the home of a woman who was murdered in Wolverhampton last month.
The break-in took place at an address on Park Meadow Avenue, Bilston, where Kamaljeet Mahey was tragically killed on 15 December.
“We have since charged a man in his 30s with her murder,” police stated.
“At around 1am on 23 December 2023, the house was burgled where personal property including jewellery, clothing and a television were stolen.
“CCTV and forensic enquiries are being carried out, and we’re now asking for the public’s help.”
Officers are urging for anyone with information that could help catch the culprits behind the house raid to get in touch.
Det Insp Jim Mahon, who is leading the investigation, said: “Kamaljeet’s family, who are grieving her sad death are now having to deal with the loss of sentimental items that belonged to her.
“We ask that anyone with information about this crime and the whereabouts of the stolen property, to get in touch.”
