Three people have been arrested in Walsall after police found suspected Class A drugs and drugs paraphernalia at an address in the town.
West Midlands Police executed a warrant at a property in Willenhall in the early hours of Friday (26 January) and discovered illegal drugs and cash.
Inside the address in Benton Close, Short Heath, officers revealed they found “suspected Class A drugs, weighing scales, several empty wraps and a quantity of cash.”
Three people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, police confirmed in a statement.
All three – two men, aged 52, and a 48-year-old woman – have been bailed while further enquiries are undertaken.
“We know the misery that drugs bring to our communities, and we are determined to target suppliers and bring them to justice,” the official statement read.
West Midlands Police urged anyone who suspects drug dealing in their neighbourhood to contact them via Live Chat on their website, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
