Birmingham businessman Savvas Sfrantzis, owner of Mykonos Bar and Grill, describes the knifeman’s vicious attacks against random people outside his eatery in Hurst Street in the city centre’s Southside district.
Eight people were stabbed by a man between 12.30am and 2.30am on Sunday 6 September in central Birmingham. One of the victims died and two were seriously injured.
“I saw him stabbing her in the face… in 2 or 3 minutes the police were there. I could not believe it… the guy [knifeman] wasn’t panicked, he looked like he didn’t care. He was relaxed and just walked away.”
