A teenager is dead and two other people were injured after their car overturned in the Washwood Heath area of Birmingham on Saturday (11th December).
Police were called to Washwood Heath Road by ambulance service crews at just after 5.25am on Saturday morning.
A terrifying accident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning when a car overturned causing injuries to two of the occupants and killing a third person aged 19.
Police confirmed a Seat Ibiza was found overturned and a young man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The two survivors inside the overturned car were rushed to hospital by ambulance crews.
Police closed off Washwood Heath Road between Foley Road and St Agatha’s Road while officers conducted enquiries to establish what happened.
A police spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the man who sadly died and we’ll be offering them all the support we can during this incredibly difficult time.
“We’re in the area carrying out enquiries and our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to hear from anyone with information. Particularly if you were in the area and have dash cam footage.”
