Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured when shots were fired at a car in Birmingham on Saturday.
The victim, in his 30s, remains in hospital with injuries which are reportedly not life-threatening.
The incident took place shortly after 6pm in Coventry Road, South Yardley on 20 January; with investigators carrying out door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
“We’re also asking anyone we’ve not yet spoken with to get in contact,” police confirmed in a statement.
“Or if you were driving in Coventry Road, Heybarnes Road or Hob Moor Road between about 5.45pm and 6.15pm, we’d ask you take a look at dashcam footage, as it may hold vital information to assist with enquiries.
“We understand such incidents can be upsetting and unsettling and our neighbourhood teams are continuing to carry out extra patrols in the area to offer reassurance.”
Investigators have set up a special online portal for anyone to send over information or dashcam footage to them via the MIPP Public Portal at mipp.police.uk.
