‘Human leg’ found in lake in Small Heath Park

A section of Small Heath Park is currently sealed off this afternoon by emergency teams after unconfirmed claims that a ‘human leg’ was discovered in the lake.

Video footage has emerged this afternoon which shows emergency crews searching the lake inside Small Heath Park which is off Coventry Road.

The lake, which is located near the iconic bandstand inside Small Heath Park, is reportedly sealed off this afternoon by police as emergency crews trawl through the water.

A ‘human leg’ was allegedly discovered in the lake according to unconfirmed reports. Two Incident Support vehicles are at the scene this afternoon with crews ‘searching for a body’.

An ambulance crew is also at the scene inside the park.
