Fears are growing for the safety of a missing teenager from the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham who was last seen on 6 January.

West Midlands Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 19-year-old Naella and have launched a public appeal to trace her.

Officers working on this urgent case have issued pictures of the missing teenager from Bordesley Green who has not been seen since Thursday 6 January.

Naella is described as 5ft 3ins tall with a slim build and straight black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black headscarf and black dress with white flowers, a long grey cardigan, and grey Nike trainers.

Police say Naella was also carrying a brown Louis Vuitton handbag.

Detectives working on this worrying case are desperate to trace Naella and make contact with her as soon as possible.

However, after a week without contact or any clue to her whereabouts, police have launched an urgent public appeal in the hunt to find the missing teenager.

A police spokesperson said: “We’re all really worried about her and need to find her as soon as we can.

“If you see her please call us on 999. Please quote reference MPBE/225/22.”

The appeal has gone viral on social media platforms and has had hundreds of shares.
