A young woman was stalked by two men in a white van as she went for her lockdown walk in Little Green Lane, Small Heath.

Police have launched an appeal to track down the men who targeted the young woman two days in a row at the same location. The first time the victim was stalked was around 11am on Wednesday 13th May.

A young Small Heath woman was left shaken after she reportedly noticed a white van pull up  alongside her on Little Green Lane as she took her daily lockdown walk.

She said the passenger side door of the vehicle opened and a man started to get out. This action prompted her to immediately cross over to the other side of the street.

According to the woman the van sped off when she reached the other side.

The following day, Thursday 14th May, around the same time as before, the white van and its occupants stalked the woman again but this time she said she was able to alert a passer-by for help.

The woman confirmed the registration of the white van as KP52 OXT.

A police spokesperson said the suspicious van is proving difficult to trace and it appears the number plates are false.

West Midlands Police have launched an appeal to the public for any information, or CCTV or dashcam footage, relating to this disturbing incident which took place in broad daylight.

There are serious concerns these two predators may strike again and target another defencless woman.

Detectives have requested anyone who might have any clue about the identity of the men or can help trace the white van to come forward.

Local residents are being urged to remain vigilant and alert when going out for their daily lockdown walks.
