Award-winning Birmingham choreographer Rosie Kay is working non-stop to rehearse and ready the key dance performance for the official Commonwealth Games handover ceremony at the Gold Coast in Australia on Sunday.

The performance will be part of an official handover from the Gold Coast to Birmingham, featuring Brummie performers including 2,022 young people; and complimented by a short film from Daniel Alexander, a musical number from Lady Sanity and a spoken word poetry piece from Amerah Saleh. Principal Birmingham Royal Ballet dancer Celine Gittens will also be performing.

The official Birmingham 2022 handover ceremony takes place on Sunday, 15 April 2018, and will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 11am.
